Urgent Help
If you are currently experiencing an emergency or feel that you are unable to keep yourself safe, call 999 or attend A&E.
If you need urgent help but don’t need to go to A&E. there are other options available:
- If you need urgent medical support but it isn’t life-threatening, call 111
- Contact your GP surgery for an emergency appointment
- Call the Samaritans on 116 123, they are free and open 24/7
Non-life-threatening emergencies
If you are not experiencing a life threatening emergency or need immediate medical attention, there are other options available to you or the person you are with:
- Speaking to your local pharmacist
- Calling your GP
- Going to your local NHS Walk-In centre or Minor injuries unit
- Self-care at home
